Paula was born in Barcelona in 1989. She begins her studies at “Conservatorio Municipal de Música de Barcelona (CMMB)” where she graduated with distinction. She graduated from the Superior Music School of Catalonia (ESMuC), where she studied with Albert Mora. She was later admitted in the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid with the teachers Jacques Zoon and Salvador Martínez Tos obtaining the prize as the best flute student of the academic year 2013-2014.
Her first orchestral experiences were with the National Youth Orchestra of Catalonia (JONC) and as an academist of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra. Later, she performs regularly with orchestras such as Gran Teatre del Liceu, Orchestra of Valencia, Cadaqués Orchestra, Sinfónica del Vallés Orchestra, Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, Orquesta de la Comunitat Valenciana (Palau de les Arts) and Basque National Orchestra. Since 2018 until 2021, she was Co-Principal flute of Oviedo Filarmonía Orchestra. Currently, she plays in Banda Municipal de Barcelona.
On 2014 she made her debut as a soloist at the “Palau de la Música Catalana” in the concert cycle “El Primer Palau”. She went on tour playing J.S.Bach Brandenburg Concerto no.5 with the Camerata of the Reina Sofía School of Music conducted by Antoni Ros-Marbà.
She has been invited to teach at youth orchestras as Andalucia Youth Orchestra (OJA), as well as giving masterclasses at Superior Music School of Asturias (CONSMUPA).
